New Comparison Tool
The Queensland government have developed a fantastic tool to assess how your safety is being managed. Here is the details around it:
Safe business is good business - it can increase worker productivity and morale, reduce injuries and their associated costs to your business, and enhance your reputation with customers and the community.
This self assessment tool will:
•help you to assess whether you have an effective, systematic approach to managing health and safety
•enable you to compare your performance anonymously with other businesses across similar industry sectors and sizes
•provide guidance to help you improve your management of workplace health and safety issues.
The tool only takes about 20 minutes to complete, is free and confidential.
How will it help?
Business owners, managers and safety professionals can use this tool to identify areas of health and safety which are being managed well, and those which may require further action. The tool focuses on the systematic management of health and safety in the workplace - the processes that are in place to manage workplace risks, and achieve compliance with health and safety laws.
