Common questions
Does it cover fixed ladders or scaffolds?
No. Fixed ladders, scaffolding, elevated work platforms and other powered access equipment are outside its scope.
Which rungs can't be stood on?
Not the top two rungs or steps of a stepladder, and not past the second-last rung of a single or extension ladder, unless the ladder is marked with a lower limit.
Should ladders be the first choice for work at height?
No. Ladders are a lower-order fall control, used only where a platform, scaffold or elevated work platform isn't reasonably practicable.
Can I change it?
Yes. It's a Microsoft Word file, so you can add, remove or change any step, check or hazard, and add your own logo and details.
Does it suit my state?
Yes. It's written to the model WHS laws and suits all states and territories, including Victoria under the OHS Act and Regulations.
What if it doesn't suit my work?
You're covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee if it isn't fit for purpose.
