Common questions
Does it cover flood restoration or mould?
No. Flood and water damage restoration, mould remediation, lifting carpet, ozone and pest treatment, and trauma, unattended death or hoarding cleans are all outside its scope.
Can a truck-mounted unit run in a basement car park?
No. The SOP says never to run a truck-mounted unit inside a garage, basement, warehouse or enclosed car park, and to use a portable machine instead.
What if bed bugs are found?
Stop work, don't move the mattress, and tell the client to call a licensed pest controller. Clothing worn on the job is bagged for hot washing.
Can I change it?
