Common questions
Does it cover internal wet areas?
No. It covers balconies, decks, planter boxes and other external areas. Internal wet area waterproofing, and tiling over the cured membrane, need their own procedures.
Does it cover installing edge protection?
No. Workers confirm edge protection is in place before starting, but installing guardrails and other fall prevention is covered by your working at heights procedures.
Is a P2 mask enough for solvent-based membranes?
No. The SOP calls for a respirator with an organic vapour cartridge when using solvent-based, epoxy or two-pack polyurethane products.
Can I change it?
Yes. It's a Microsoft Word file, so you can add, remove or change any step, check or hazard, and add your own logo and details.
Does it suit my state?
Yes. It's written to the model WHS laws and suits all states and territories, including Victoria under the OHS Act and Regulations.
What if it doesn't suit my work?
You're covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee if it isn't fit for purpose.
