Common questions
Does it cover dry cutting or quick cut saws?
No. It covers wet cutting with a bench or table brick saw only. Dry cutting, handheld or quick cut saws and on-tool dust extraction are covered by separate procedures.
What happens if the water stops?
Stop cutting. The SOP says to stop if water flow fails or dust becomes visible, and not to resume until suppression is restored.
Can slurry be swept up?
No. Clean-up uses wet methods such as hosing, squeegeeing or wet wiping, never dry sweeping or compressed air.
Can I change it?
Yes. It's a Microsoft Word file, so you can add, remove or change any step, check or hazard, and add your own logo and details.
Does it suit my state?
Yes. It's written to the model WHS laws and suits all states and territories, including Victoria under the OHS Act and Regulations.
What if it doesn't suit my work?
You're covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee if it isn't fit for purpose.
