Do I need a SWMS for operating mobile plant?
On a construction site, usually yes. Work in an area with movement of powered mobile plant is high risk construction work, and so is plant work next to a road in use or near energised electrical services. Outside construction a SWMS isn't mandatory, but you still have to manage the risks, and clients and prequalification portals often ask for one.
