A daily pre-start check for electric, engine-driven and towable air compressors, covering the air receiver, safety valve, hoses and couplings.

- Compressor details, type, site and last service date
- A weekly operator log for Monday to Sunday
- Before starting checks: air receiver, safety relief valve, pressure gauge, belts and guards, oil and fuel, air filter, hoses and couplings, whip checks, power lead, location and tow hitch
