A daily pre-start check for excavators of any size, covering the walkaround, the quick hitch and the controls before work starts.
 
What's included
Excavator details, site and last service date
A weekly operator log for Monday to Sunday
Before starting checks: tracks and undercarriage, bucket and attachment, quick hitch, boom, arm, pins and bushes, hydraulics, fluids, cab, ROPS and FOPS, mirrors and camera
After starting checks: gauges and warning lights, horn, travel and slew alarms, lights, hydraulic lockout lever, travel, slew and brakes
A faults and tag-out log so a faulty machine is taken out of use until it is repaired
A one-page instruction sheet with step-by-step guidance and tips

At the start of every shift, before the excavator is used
When a new operator takes over the machine
After a fault has been repaired
