- A weekly operator log for Monday to Sunday
- Before starting checks: tyres, chassis and scissor arms, hydraulics, platform, guardrails and gate, extension deck, capacity plate, pothole protection, outriggers, battery and fluids, and logbook
- After starting checks: ground controls, emergency stops, emergency lowering, platform controls, drive, steering and brakes, tilt alarm and interlocks, overload sensing, and horn and alarms
- A faults and tag-out log so a faulty scissor lift is taken out of use until it is repaired
- A one-page instruction sheet with step-by-step guidance and tips
When to use it

- When a new operator takes over the machine
